What? Who cares what Morrisey thinks anyway?!?

Check this out. Morrissey Hates Canada, Loves Seals

I'm just about fed up with all these celebrities and their lame-brain opinions.

The ins and out of show business

Er teaching. Aren't they one in the same?

I realize that I am possibly the worst blog owner ever - one update a month - and I really have no excuse for it. I really do apologize to all those that would really like daily or at least weekly updates from old Taupo town but hey, you get what you pay for.

Things are cruising along at mach speed these days. I am already 7 weeks into school, 3 more to go until holidays. It seems to be getting easier - lastnight I didn't return from Tauranga until 8:30pm, threw a couple lessons together, went to bed, got up and came to school. I am helping out with the Slalom Kayaking club (and getting free whitewater kayaking lessons) and I am helping out with the school's Environment Committee (here's to molding a few youths in my image!) I was also asked to help out with the Basketball team but that was on Friday afternoons so I said "no-can-do!" I booked a trip down the Whanganui River last week - for the first week of holidays. I'm very excited about it.

The weather is heading for the hills. Australia was hit with a tropical cyclone last week and we are feeling the affects of another one this week. Rain, rain and more rain. I think I'm starting to get S.A.D. (Seasonal Affected Disorder.) However, Saturday was quite nice on the west coast - we visited Raglan for the day. Hopefully I can return to surf in the near future.

Over the weekend I watched 3 flicks (because of the weather), 2 of which I would recommend: "Maria Full of Grace" and "The Dreamers." Both were really good for different reasons. Parental guidance is suggested for any who are thinking about renting either.

That's about all really. I am alive and well and that's all.
